Giving children a bright future is everyone’s best interest. Investing in the mental health of the next generation provides a bright future for us all. We must support the next generation to help them grow into their best self. Without help, many will struggle now and later in life. We must focus on giving them the tools they desperately need and help them learn life giving skills. Additionally, so they do not have to go it alone, we must provide funding for mental health support services. These services will help students face their challenges and heal from tough experiences. Restorative mental health care is just as important as prevention. It gives students access to counseling when they need it most. This support helps them recover from trauma to help them find their way back to their best self. By investing in both areas, we can help every child have a bright future.

What People Are Saying
“A faith-based nonprofit that supports people facing anxiety and depression is incredibly valuable because it meets both emotional and spiritual needs. It provides a safe space where individuals can find hope, healing, and community rooted in compassion and faith. I know firsthand how powerful that can be - I couldn't have conquered a season of deep anxiety in my 20s without my faith in Jesus Christ. By combining mental health resources with the strength of spiritual encouragement, organizations like this remind people that they are never alone- that their struggles have purpose and that lasting peace and renewal are possible through faith.”
— Faith B.
“A nonprofit that helps those who suffer from mental health illness and addiction is very much needed in today’s society. I see much value and merit in what Bear the Cross is trying to accomplish as a nonprofit organization. There is an ever-growing need for helping those who suffer in silence or just don’t know that help is available. I can’t wait to see the great things that Bear the Cross will accomplish!”
